Return and Credit Policy

At Langside Meats, your satisfaction is very important to us. However, because we sell perishable products, we have to follow strict rules when it comes to returns.

No Returns Policy

Due to health and safety regulations:

  • We do not accept returns of any meat products.

  • Once your meat box has been packed and dispatched, it cannot be returned or refunded.

This policy ensures the safety, quality, and freshness of our products at all times.


What If There’s a Problem with My Order?

If something doesn’t seem right when your order arrives—whether it’s a packing issue, missing item, or quality concern—please contact us immediately.

Here’s how we handle it:

  1. Reach out to us via phone or email as soon as possible (preferably within 24 hours of delivery).

  2. A team member will personally call you to understand what went wrong and how we can make it right.

  3. If your concern is valid and confirmed, we will usually issue a store credit to your Langside Meats account.

    • This credit can be used on your next purchase.

    • We do not usually issue cash refunds unless required under South African Consumer Protection laws.


When Will I Receive a Credit?

We aim to resolve all concerns within 3 working days after we've spoken with you. If a credit is granted:

  • You'll receive a confirmation via email or SMS.

  • The credit will be automatically applied to your Langside Meats account.


Please Note:

We reserve the right to deny a credit if:

  • The complaint is submitted long after the delivery date.

  • The product was not stored correctly after delivery.

  • There's insufficient evidence (such as photos) of the issue.
