WILL MY MEAT ORDER BE DELIVERED FRESH OR FROZEN?
Our meat products are delivered fresh, in a polystyrene cooler box with a 2kg dry ice block placed on top, sealed and air tight.
The temperature inside the box will be cold for up to 60 hours.
It is normal for the dry ice block to be very reduced in size when you receive the box.
This does not affect the temperature inside the box.

ARE THE LANGSIDE LAMB PRODUCTS ALSO GRASS-FED?
All of our animals only receive natural supplements.
They do not receive full energy diets.

DO YOU AGE YOUR MEAT AND FOR HOW LONG?
Our meat products are air dried and not aged.
Langside beef cuts hang for 12 days and our lamb, no longer than 5 days.
Because we do not age our products, you will not experience the 'blue cheese' taste.

DO YOU VACUUM-PACK YOUR MEATS?
Yes, all of our products are individually vacuum packed.
MAY I SPECIFY PREFERENCES LIKE EXTRA FATTY AND THICKER CUTS?
This being a general online offering, we are unfortunately not able to accommodate special requests with regards to fat and thickness.
Our beef is very uniform and the portions are generous enough.
However, we are happy to quote you on a custom box, should you prefer even bigger cuts.

MAY I REQUEST CHANGES TO A STANDARD BOX FOR EXAMPLE, MAY I SWOP RUMP FOR SIRLOIN?

DO YOU ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS IN YOUR ONLINE STORE OR ONLY EFT?
Because we offer a fresh product and have to regulate our weekly capacity on a nationwide level, we make use of an order vetting system whereby customers pay via EFT once they've received their order confirmation and invoice via WhatsApp.
